What role do you have with Karolus Wine Imports?

I represent the wines of Domaine Bonneau du Martray in the United States. That entails working alongside Mary Margaret to sell the wines in small and allocated quantities as well as offering personalized private events featuring Bonneau du Martray.

What are your goals within the wine industry?

My goal is to share the story of wine with people who appreciate it the most. I’m currently in the final stages of pursing my WSET Diploma with hopes to apply to the Master of Wine program in the future.

What is your favorite vintage of Bonneau du Martray?

The 2006 Vintage of Bonneau du Martray is one of my favorites at the moment. It was a challenging yet rewarding year for the best producers in the Côte de Beaune with a mixture of cold, snow, rain, dryness and heat. I think this vintage beautifully exudes how captivating Bonneau du Martray can be, even in imperfect years. Now, it’s now showing so beautifully.

What is your favorite pairing with Bonneau du Martray?

I'll drink it with just about anything, but currently, it has to be the 2006 with truffle butter almonds, dried apricots, and smoked cheddar cheese.
